I'M A HELPER
Read by Thomas Kohann

Picture
I am a helper
and I help a lot.
I never do
what I can not.

I always help
whenever I can.
I help my mother,
and I help my aunt.

When they cook I help them
eating all but beans,
and I dirty the clothes, so…
they had something to clean.

I help them make footprints
on the freshly cleaned floor,
so they could remember
how it looked before.

I pour my paints out,
then on them I slide,
so they could explore
their creative side.

When they say:
“Clean up” I say: “What?
I am too little,
this I can not.”

Now I’m working hard
making a mess, you see?
I only wonder,
why don’t they help me?

IF I COULD FLY

Read by Thomas Kohann

Picture
If I could fly
fly would I
down to the valleys
and up to the sky

I’d fly so high
that I would see
my planet Earth
as small as me

I’d chase the birds
and dance with mosquitoes
and I would not
wear a tuxedo

I’d wear five feathers
a swim suit and a tie
and that’s what I would do
if I could only fly!
